Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps people do the everyday activities that matter to them. OTs assess your goals, abilities, routines, and environment, then create practical strategies to improve function and independence. Support can include skill building for dressing, cooking, study or work, pain and fatigue management, sensory and cognitive strategies, home or workplace adaptations, and assistive technology.
Care is coordinated with family and other clinicians and can be delivered at home, in clinics, schools, workplaces, or the community.

Psychology
Psychology services support mental health, behaviour, and quality of life. Registered psychologists assess your concerns, strengths, and context, then create evidence based plans to build coping skills and reduce distress. Interventions can include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, skills training for emotion regulation, and practical strategies for sleep, habits, and pain.
Care can address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship issues, neurodiversity, and adjustment to illness or injury. Sessions may be individual, couples, family, or group, delivered in clinic or via telehealth, and in schools or workplaces where appropriate. Psychologists collaborate with your GP, psychiatrist, and allied health to set goals, track outcomes, and strengthen resilience and wellbeing.
